Essential Oils for Spring
Happy Friday! Hope you've all been having a great week. I finally got some time to set up my office, or as we've lovingly been calling it "box room" because it's where we threw all the miscellaneous boxes when we moved in. There's still work to be done, but it's coming along! I'll have a future blog post and lots of pictures to share when it's ready.
One thing I do have set up in my office is my Vitruvi diffuser. This room was on the back burner while we worked on getting other areas of the house furnished, so it needed some life brought back to it. I use just 1-2 drops of Grapefruit in my diffuser in the morning and it's made a big difference in brightening up the space! It's a strong scent, so only a little is needed and be careful around pets.
Eucalyptus is a great scent to use in your shower or bath. You can diffuse it or add a few drops directly in the bath water. It's another stronger scent, so a little goes a long way. You'll feel like you've left your bathroom and entered a spa.
For unwinding at the end of the day, I love Bergamot. Earl Grey tea has always been a favorite of mine, and there's something so comforting about it. Some of my other go-to scents include Geranium, Sweet Orange, and Ylang Ylang. It's fun to blend them as well and experiment with different combinations!
Here are some of my favorite oil blends:
