It’s week three of the One Room Challenge and this was a BIG one for us! This was the last room in our house with wallpaper, and over the past two years we’ve been working on removing it little by little when we’ve had time from our other house projects. It was a lot more involved than we were expecting with a surprise second layer of wallpaper hiding behind the first, but with a lot of determination, steaming & scraping, we finally got every last bit off the wall.

Because we couldn’t be sure if they contained asbestos or not, we had to assume they did and stopped all work immediately until the floor was properly sealed. We ordered a floor encapsulant called PerfectPrimer which arrived on Tuesday, just two days ago, and got to work right away…
